Her Universe Fashion Show
This look inspired by the great banshee Toruk from Avatar (2009) was created for the 2023 Her Universe Fashion Show at San Diego Comic Con. The dress features complex pattern making work, machine embroidery, smocking, beading, airbrush painting, hand dyed leather and silk fabric, and knife cut leather details.
